The Education Trust Board administers New Mexico’s 529 education savings program. The Education Plan, a direct-sold 529 plan is a tax-advantaged account designed to help pay for future education expenses and reduce or eliminate student loan debt. Funds can be used for tuition, room and board, books, fees and computer equipment at a four-year university, community college, professional school, or trade school nationwide.
